Sen. Blumenthal calls on Chief Justice Roberts to bar Alito and Thomas from Trump Cases

The Morning Joe panel addresses a report of an upside-down flag, adopted by Trump supporters contesting the Biden victory, flew over Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito's front lawn as the Supreme Court was considering an election case. Sen. Richard Blumenthal calls for Alito to recuse himself from cases involving Trump, citing the #SCOTUS's "self-inflicted wounds" and its credibility issues. He challenges Chief Justice Roberts to take action and bar Justices #Alito and #Thomas from Trump cases due to their "very direct interest":

"SCOTUS's credibility is plummeting... And it's due to self-inflicted wounds... Chief Justice Roberts has to take leadership for this court."
