Our topic today is from the Leadership style series with an examination of the “Coaching Style” and this film segment is from Up in the Air, a 2009 American comedy-drama film directed by Jason Reitman and written by Reitman and Sheldon Turner,
The story is centered on corporate "downsizer" Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) and his travels. Anna Kendrick stars as Natalie Keener, a young and ambitious new hire, promoting a program designed to cut costs by conducting layoffs via videoconferencing. Ryan is skeptical of Anna’s approach and mentors her by introducing her to the realities of the world of corporate outsourcing.
