Jackson State clinches spot in SWAC Championship with latest win

The Jackson State Tigers defeated Alabama A&M 27-13 in Mobile, Alabama to clinch the SWAC East Division Title. The division title in hand JSU will host the SWAC Championship game on Dec. 3. The Tigers came back from two three-point deficits in the first half and would eventually pull away from the Bulldogs. Ridgeland's DJ Stevens provided the go-ahead touchdown in the second quarter and JSU never looked back. Next for JSU is a visit to Lorman to take on Alcorn State who won their matchup against Bethune-Cookman in dramatic fashion.
