The Evolution of e911 Services and What You Should Know - Part 1

Staff and public safety is of paramount importance to all of us. The operator will see the caller ID information this information includes the name the address and the phone number of the party that is dialing the call. This information is okay in small office environments or home environments where First Responders can cover a building quickly. How can anyone expect a first responder to quickly find someone in a skyscraper or a large factory? For a long time 911 systems and private phone systems didn't provide some key information for example details such as suite numbers and floor numbers were not included this made the location effort almost impossible in large buildings.
