All Because I Could Not Sleep

For everyone who struggles with sleep. I couldn't sleep as a child. I would lie awake worrying, playing with the wallpaper, calling out "Goodnight!" until everyone in my house was asleep and I was alone with my thoughts. I was often terrified. This is a song I wrote to express this fear, but also the incredible flights of imagination I went on. I still feel like this sometimes. But now I know that the darkness, once acknowledged, lets the light in. Love to you all.
