Characters:

Zirlwyn G. Vermillion [aka Zirlwyn Nightgloom] (Pallipes Wolf): A sarcastic, highly intelligent trickster and the leader of The Null Theory, a bandit group centered around egoistic pursuits and a nihilistic outlook. She has a brain implant which boosts mathematical intelligence. After breaking away from the technologically advanced Centre, she begins to terrorize the primitive world of RMX as a method to gain fame. Unfortunately, the ability to enhance intelligence paired with automation, a law against new technological advancements and scientific discovery in fears of the next great filter, and perfect equality within The Centre left her feeling lacking uniqueness in a world of cyborg minds and an inability to rise to the top and be recognized, driving her madness.

Ekraious Nicklestride(Japanese Serow): A martial artist and a wise inventor with the goal of creating the first flying machine in RMX. After Zirlwyn pinned a crime he never committed upon his head, he set out to hunt down the infamous bandit in hopes of capturing the slippery foe and clearing his name once and for all. Because of his limited knowledge on advanced tech, he believes Zirlwyn to be a semi-magical entity. And it is here, where a battle of wits unfold. However, Zirlwyn does take interest in Ekraious’ works from afar, and despite his lack of knowledge she longs for a world where we know little of the world around us and where scientific discovery is an adventure anyone can freely embark.
Story:

In order to prevent the next great filter of the Fermi paradox, The Centre keeps most of the world in a primitive state so that technology does not advance to the point of self-destruction. After Zirlwyn causes mass mayhem upon the RMX, Ekraious sets out to hunt her down, armed with nothing more than his primitive knowledge of the world. After capturing Zirlwyn, the wolf bandit offers the him “The Truth.” She slips him a chip, claiming it to be a magical eye-opening device, and leaves him in a trance-liked hallucination which overloads Ekraious’ senses, bombarding him with digitalized visuals. And during the serow’s trance, Zirlwyn escapes.

This is all done in Procreate on an IPad so it took me a hecking while.
