Six weeks ago, Tenebris Colony went silent. Four hundred and twelve people. No distress call except one — a Priority One transmission from a single survivor who reported a hostile biological organism, an infection he didn't expect to survive, and a warning that nobody has fully shared with the team being sent to investigate.

Commander Sarai Okafor leads a seven-person Aegis Corp rapid-response team, accompanied by two Horizon Industries scientists and a Terran Accord military observer. Three factions. Three sets of orders. One destination.

The briefing tells them the colony is dead. The briefing tells them the organism is large, fast, and durable. The briefing tells them conventional weapons were insufficient.
