The soundtrack of the 1987 MOTU movie with a metal vibe - Episode 6 of Masters and Metal

Sander Gommans: The Bill Conti soundtrack of the 1987 Masters of the Universe movie brings me right back to my childhood! For this 6th episode of Masters and Metal, I gave myself the challenge to make this iconic soundtrack sound heavier and more intense so to give it a MASTERS and METAL vibe.

This video also gave me an opportunity to display various MOTU toys from my collection which were inspired by the movie.

I honestly have to say that I had great fun adding the heavy-sounding guitars to the main theme. Needless to say that creating this video brought back my inner child again :-) Writing and playing these guitar parts made my love for the theme even bigger. I stumbled upon so many cool little details and harmonies.

I hope you can appreciate another take on this classic track!
