When A Canadian Dates A German... Cultural Differences

How are Canadians and Germans different from each other? From small talk to slippers, dating each other reveals it all! Dating habits, holiday traditions, meeting the parents and planning a future together: Dating a foreigner can be an interesting and fun, but also somewhat challenging experience. We go beyond the "Germans like beer" and "Canadians like Maple Syrup" stereotypes and discuss how us being from different countries shows in our everyday life together.

Of course we forgot some things, like:

- Canada is a lot more multicultural than Germany
- Germans like to be on time and Canadians like to be at least an hour late (this drives Lilian crazy!)
- German women tend to wear less makeup than Canadian Women
- Germans love sparkling water!
- and much more!

Side note: of course these things aren't true for ALL Canadians and ALL Germans, these are just our experiences and generalizations ;)
