The Currowan bushfire tore through New South Wales' south coast on New Year's Eve, 2019. The aftermath was devastating.

WWF visited Dr Kate Toyer and Dr Carrie Hawthorn, veterinarians on the south coast of NSW to hear their experience.

WWF-Australia has distributed funds to the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) who have vets on the front line providing emergency treatment and care to Australian native animals injured or affected by the bushfires all across the country.
