Victoria's Alpine forests need your support!

The FoEM forest collective is currently ramping up a campaign for the Alpine regions under threat of logging.

Over the last three years, we have been connecting to the Alpine regions, and recently, as a result of the court cases restricting logging in the Central Highlands and East Gippsland FMA’s, precious Alpine regions are on the chopping block.

So that we can have a successful campaign to protect these areas, we need your support for our community trips out to these incredible forests.

Climate change driven fire poses an existential threat to the mountain forests of the Victorian high country. A lot of these landscapes are still recovering from successive bushfires. Logging only increases the flammability of forests. They need to be left intact for them to thrive and be as resilient as possible in a rapidly changing climate.
