First charge of the Frankenstein battery... But look at this GobelPower BMS!!!

OK, so this is the first full charge of our recently built Frankenstein battery through the Gobelpower BMS. The deviation of the cells is not as bad as many believed. I was really trying to top balance the battery but even the NEEY active balancer didn't have a chance to get the job done (more about this in the next video). 4 cells seem to be really low and the process to bring them up to the same SOC as the other ones may take longer than expected.

We also have a comprehensive look at the #Gobelpower #BMS functions and settings... and I'm more than impressed! The BMS seems to tick all the boxes and also works flawlessly with the #Victron system. It resets to 100%SOC before even reaching any over voltage protection or alarm and also has a settable tail current to allow for absorption. Is this the BMS we always wanted?
