CZERŃ - Zgliszcza (Black/Death/Sludge 2020 - Poland)

The band CZERN was recommended to me from the THE DOG circle and, as a fan of dense atmosphere, I was immediately hooked. The music is a hybrid of Black and Death Metal, with elements of Post Metal, but without making the record look slick. So you can expect a massive soundwall with amazing deep growling that is somewhere between IMMOLATION, DIRGE and CELESTE. ZGLISZCZA can also score with interesting tempo variations, complex song structures and above all a good production.

If you like the reference bands mentioned above and have no problem with the Polish lyrics, which by the way give the album an exotic and mystical touch, you should take a closer look at CZERN. A good record, which once again proof the quality of the Polish underground Diy scene.
