Bird Bath Performance by Collectress (An Ode to the Cockshut stream)

Performance by Collectress as part of Bird Bath 2024 at Brighton Festival.
Bird Bath transforms beautiful buildings into restorative spaces by inviting you to pause, rest and ‘bathe’ in the sound of local birdsong.

Conceived and created by meditator and broadcaster Alistair Appleton and musician and researcher, Alice Eldridge, Bird bath brings local artists, communities, musicians, schools together with ecological and cultural heritage for a multispecies celebration of place.

This edition was a Sussex Digital Humanities Lab, Experimental Ecologies project, working in partnership with the Living Coast UNESCO Biosphere, produced by Sound UK and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council Impact Acceleration Account at the University of Sussex, UK.
