Fashion design as a profession is complex, full of its own unique challenges and a resume of particularly necessary resources, information and skill. But the devastatingly fast-paced system pushes so many brands and clothing brand owners and creative directors to their breaking point. NYFW, LFW, MFW and Paris Fashion Week often see people come and go on the calendar and this summer and autumn, we have begun seeing more fashion designers take different paths to creating their collections and rejecting the super fast pacing needed by the industry with the goal to try and dedicate more time towards actually designing fashion.
