Koppert bumblebees and the ToBRFV

The spread of Tomato brown rugose fruit virus is a great concern for tomato and sweet pepper growers around the world. Transmission of the virus is mechanical, by human interactions. Using bumblebees as pollinators is a better, less risky alternative to hand pollination by mechanical means which leads to spreading the virus significantly, reduction of yield and quality.
