Census crimes prompt Police action, UBOS plans expansion
The police are investigating several crimes that have occurred during the ongoing National Population and Housing census exercise. According to police spokesperson Fred Enanga, attacks on the enumerators and thefts of their census tablets have become prevalent, requiring the force's intervention. Meanwhile, the census lead agency UBOS is planning to increase the number of enumerators and enumeration days in some areas to complete the exercise on time. On the fourth day of this national exercise, 10 million people have so far been enumerated.
