Confessing Sins & Moving Forward Into Newness

In this video, I just want to open up about some sins that have been in my life in this last season. A few videos ago, I mentioned I entered into the toughest season in my walk with God at the end of 2019 and all of 2020. A lot of pain, a lot of circumstances I hadn’t faced before that exceeded what I could navigate, and a lot of dissatisfaction and anger at God amidst everything.

This began to produce subtle rebellion in me, and to make a long story short, I began a battle with looking at things I shouldn’t as a means of mood-altering, distraction, and self-medication. It gave way for lust to take root, and that’s the sin I want to confess. I confess that in this video, and share some things I hope may help you in your battle with sin as well, whether the same sin or a different one.

I want to eventually make content that will help people overcome sin (having once been victorious in this area, and hopefully staying free in the Lord this time around), and while I’m not asking for sympathy or compassion, I do hope to receive grace to work this into something positive in the Lord’s timing.
