TUNNEL TO NOWHERE

William (Burro) Schmidt spent 38 YEARS of his life digging this tunnel with nothing more than a pick axe, shovel, and 4 pound hammer. He later began to use explosives with notoriously short fuses. To this day many people still speculate as to why he spent so much time and energy to complete this tunnel. Ripley's Believe It Or Not calls him the "Human Mole"
