Ethiopian Olim Arriving to Israel
Operation Moses (1984) and Operation Solomon (1991) brought thousands of the Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jewish) community to Israel. Today, the Beta Israel community in Israel comprises of over 120,000 people. Making aliyah (moving to Israel) is an drastic change from the life they led before but is the fulfillment of a dream and the uniting of a people.
