ATHEIST VERSUS THEIST: How to FAIL at "Something cannot come from nothing"

Yes, I am a fan of the Atheist Experience, which is a call-in-show that features atheist hosts that have conversations with mostly theist callers.

I want to show and discuss a clip from the Atheist experience dating back from 2012 in which theist caller Eric calls in to the show. In that episode the show is hosted by Tracie Harris and Matt Dillahunty. And Eric calls in because he wants to prove the existence of a god based upon the totally weak, incoherent and worn out "Something cannot come from nothing" statement. It's astounding that, after centuries of failed attempts to turn that totally untestable premise into some kind of argument, many theists still bring this to the table in a serious debate about religion.

Now, Eric's plea doesn't start off really well, he basically tells show-host Matt Dillahunty that the show doesn't have a level playing field, because most of the callers did not properly study their own religion. And of course when Matt would debate Eric, that would be an entirely different ballgame because Eric, so he says, has had many debates and he won all of them. Oh boy, from then on of course we know this not going to end very well for Eric. Let's watch...
