As you guys know, it's not often I'll talk about a "bad singer" video or open up the floor for negativity. But this video of Puddle of Mudd covering Nirvana's "About a Girl" got so much traction and people were asking so many questions I decided to do a quick tutorial. What can we learn from this performance? Instead of trolling the vocalist to death, there are constructive points we can make about this performance and learn from so hopefully we'll have better luck ourselves in our own vocal performances. I hope I can give you some great vocal tips and pointers here and let's use this as an opportunity to learn, rather than troll.
