Answer: because Racing Fans are boring and Spec Sheet Nerds are insufferable. Not only do they care about IRL 0-60 times, but they also care about every dumb idiot pixel on screen to make yet another bland as hell "realistic looking" racing game. My Guy. I touch grass. I can walk outside and see like 10 supercars on a daily basis. Yeah I got friends in high places, I'm flexing For Real For Real.

It bores the hell out of me, after the 100th time I've seen a McLaren IRL, so you bet when it looks exactly the same in game, it bores the hell out of me even more. Games are meant to be artistic, expressive, and let's be honest...unrealistic. You want the best most realistic Racing Experience? Touch Grass and drive an actual car. I'm sick of this Sim Racer Craze that has left Arcade racers completely dry, with any ounce of style, flair, and creativity stomped out by boring specsheet nerds.
