Testing and Review of the (Fake) Nagoya NA-805 Stubby HT Radio Antenna

Here is the next in my series of tests on so called “Stubby” HT antennas. I define stubby antennas as being 4” in length or less and designed to work on an HT radio.

In today’s video I test and review the (Fake) Nagoya NA-805 Stubby HT Antenna. I decided to buy and test this antenna as I wanted to see what a fake antenna could do. Also, I want everyone to know there are still fake antennas out there and it might be the name and price that makes these antennas so attractive. These stubby antennas are highly compromised and have greatly reduced performance. But how does a fake Nagoya perform? I took the risk with my money so you don’t have to. Please watch the video to the end to find out how it performed.
