Tottenham Hotspur’s Xavi Simons was seen reacting angrily to fans as he was taken off the pitch on a stretcher during Spurs’ match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The video filmed by Matt Bateman appears to show Simons shouting back at supporters inside Molineux Stadium as home fans directed abuse toward him while he was being wheeled away.

Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi later confirmed that Simons suffered a knee injury during the match after colliding with a Wolves player.
