Cosentino Group presents the 16th edition of the international design challenge. Its main objective is to foster the talent and creativity of architecture and design students from all over the world. The Cosentino Design Challenge has the participation and collaboration of more than 30 renowned international schools and universities. Each year, leading publications in the field of design and architecture publicize its impact, such as Experimenter Magazine, the competition's media partner.

The Challenge consists of two categories: architecture and design. In the design category, the theme is Rethinking the creative and workspace in the home. In the architecture category, the theme is The Fifth Façade: Reflections on the Roof. Proposals in this category must combine energy use with sustainability, livability and design.

The contest gives students the freedom to develop their ideas with a single requirement: the final project must include at least one Cosentino product.

The jury will be announced in June 2022 and will be made up of a teacher from a collaborating school, an internationally recognized architect and designer, and a representative of Cosentino.
Respect for the environment, sustainability, the conceptual and technical quality of the project, reflection on the subject, creativity and innovation are some of the criteria that the jury will take into account when making its final decision.

Grupo Cosentino presenta la 16ª edición del reto internacional del diseño. Su principal objetivo es fomentar el talento y la creatividad de los estudiantes de arquitectura y diseño de todo el mundo. El Cosentino Design Challenge cuenta con la participación y colaboración de más de 30 prestigiosas escuelas y universidades internacionales. Cada año, publicaciones líderes en el campo del diseño y la arquitectura publicitan su impacto, como Experimenter Magazine, el medio asociado de la competencia.

El Desafío consta de dos categorías: arquitectura y diseño. En la categoría de diseño, el tema es Repensar el espacio creativo y de trabajo en el hogar. En la categoría de arquitectura, el tema es La Quinta Fachada: Reflejos en el Techo. Las propuestas en esta categoría deben combinar el uso de la energía con la sostenibilidad, la habitabilidad y el diseño.

El concurso da libertad a los alumnos para desarrollar sus ideas con un único requisito: el proyecto final debe incluir al menos un producto de Cosentino.

El jurado se dará a conocer en junio de 2022 y estará compuesto por un profesor de una escuela colaboradora, un arquitecto y diseñador de reconocimiento internacional y un representante de Cosentino.
El respeto por el medio ambiente, la sostenibilidad, la calidad conceptual y técnica del proyecto, la reflexión sobre el tema, la creatividad y la innovación son algunos de los criterios que el jurado tendrá en cuenta a la hora de tomar su decisión final.
