quarantine has given me the energy and time to produce this personal video diary about the experiences i've had at harvard as a first-gen, low-income college student. i discuss my background in a title I public school district and then contrast it with the starkly different culture and demographics at harvard. i talk about privilege, identity, guilt, loneliness, Spanish, and anxieties/worries. i tried to make this as a e s t h e t i c as my lack of film experience would allow. the video style was heavily influenced by bestdressed who i've been binge-watching.
