Over 3 lakh people displaced due to heavy rainfall in India

Heavy rainfall was experienced in several parts of North India, including West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. Several villages in Madhya Pradesh were affected due to floods. Meanwhile, close to 40 villages in Rajasthan are facing flood threats because of unprecedented rains. On the other hand, a flood alert was issued in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district after the gate of the Pulichintala dam washed away.
