Quick review of the Borodino:
The first thing that catches your attention would be the 12 km radar that she has as one of her consumables. While the radar can be very useful at times, Borodino gives up a lot for it. In my opinion, she sacrificed too much to get the 12 km radar.

As the title says, she is very similar to how Stalingrad is played and even their armor scheme is extremely similar. So similar in fact that the Borodino bow is also only 25 mm which is the same as Stalingrad. One glaring difference is that Borodino uses battleship caliber guns and is also under the battleship class icon instead of a cruiser class.

While their tanking aspect may be similar, their offensive aspect is very different. For starters, Borodino also have 6 guns which reloads at a staggering 31 seconds. While the accuracy is somewhat better than the average Russian battleship, the lack of alpha strike combined with the long reload just makes her extremely mediocre. You will often find yourself wishing for another turret as you fail to finish off targets.

Another problem with the Borodino is the lack of bow armor. Every battleships at your tier can overmatch your bow while you can't. Imagine that every battleship is like a Yamato whenever they fire at you. Not a pleasant sight is it? Her side armor is extremely weak just like the Stalingrad so the moment you show your broadside to another battleship, be prepared to sink while something like a Lenin or Vladivostok might survive.

All in all, Borodino is an extremely fragile battleship combined with lacking firepower just to get the 12 km radar that might not even be useful in a match. It makes the matter even worse by taking up a battleship slot. She is an extremely niche ship.

Borodino will be incredibly frustrating to play with 6 guns that reloads at a massive 31 seconds. You will also quickly find out that any battleship you face will be your worse nightmare as you cannot bow tank any battleships. Not recommended for anybody except collectors or someone with a plan.
