How to Shoot Fashion in Low Light on 35mm Film

Join me on a fashion photography shoot using 35mm film in atmospheric locations around York, including both indoor and outdoor low-light settings. This shoot features model Holly, captured on the Canon EOS600 with a 50mm f1.8 lens, using Ilford Delta 3200—a high-speed black-and-white film perfect for low-light conditions.

In this video, I discuss why I chose Ilford Delta 3200, its characteristics, and how it performs in challenging lighting environments. I also walk through my development, scanning, and editing process, sharing insights into the full analog workflow.

Alongside the film photography, I captured behind-the-scenes video footage using the iPhone 15 Pro Max, filmed in Log with the Blackmagic Camera app and stabilized using the Hohem iSteady M6 gimbal for a cinematic look.

If you're into film photography, night photography, or fashion shoots on 35mm, this one's for you!
