meowbox visits RAPS the Richmond Animal Protection Society

We were very fortunate to be able to spend a day at the Richmond Animal Protection Society (RAPS), British Columbia, Canada.

The Cat Sanctuary sits on 6 acres of serene, suburban farmland and has many facilities for the large amount of strays that are brought in or captured. It is more commonly known as "cat paradise", or "Club Med for cats" and we met many beautiful, wonderful cats the day we went. It is truly a "heaven for cat lovers." It's a great place to escape the stresses of city life and to meet like-minded animal lovers, all whilst giving these beautiful fur-kids the attention they deserve!
