Intro to Derivatives in Calculus
Derivatives in calculus measure how a function changes at a specific point. They represent the slope of the tangent line on a graph and are notated as f'(x) or dy/dx. Derivatives can be calculated using various rules, and their sign tells you if a function is increasing (positive), decreasing (negative), or constant (zero).
