Introducing Project Shammah...
The Hebrew word ‘shama’ (שָׁמַע) means to hear, to listen, to submit, to obey.
Jehovah-Shammah is the english translation of יְהוָ שָׁמָּה‎ (Yahweh šāmmāh) meaning ‘Jehovah is there’. It was the name of the city in Ezekiel's last vision and the final words of the Book. It is the last name that the Lord revealed through the Old-Testament prophets.
Therefore, set to resemble the heart of this project, is the title ‘Shammah’. Amidst the perverse and wicked world we live in today, the Lord is present. We are called to be separated from the world, living in it and not of it.
We aim to revive old Indian Christian hymns that serve as encouraging reminders of God's faithfulness to His faithful remnant.
And so, after a year of preparations, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new project.
