Guys, welcome to another episode of "ON THE FLIP," aka my new series where Chris and I flip houses and also...smaller stuff like what I'm doing today...a room! Today I'm creating a work from home office for my sister Ali, who is a teacher, wife and mom of two little people. Where we live in California, in-person learning (aka going to school in person) is not happening for the indefinite future. My sister asked me if I could help her figure out a solution because she, like ALL of us, doesn't have a whole extra room in her house for an office. Ali asked me to create a small workspace for her in the corner of her daughter's bedroom and I was so excited! Phil and Judy (our parents) came to the rescue and offered their skills (for zero dollars) and I think this space turned out so incredibly cute and super functional. ALSO - I need to give a shout-out to teachers. If the pandemic has taught us anything it's the fact that teachers should be making millions of dollars a year. I come from a family of educators and place very high value on the impact of teachers, aka EARTH ANGELS. I also want to give a shout-out to parents doing their best at home schooling. And lastly, a major thank you to Lowe's for hooking me up with a gift-card that helped me buy a ton of stuff for this project! Now the only question is....what do we do next on #OnTheFlip????
