This instrumental journey showcases the world-renowned traditions of musical instrument craftsmanship from both Japan and South Korea, where high-end handmade instruments can reach prices in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Our ensemble features an extraordinary collection of instruments sourced directly from the masters of Japan and South Korea:

• Japanese Woodwinds & Flutes: The performance features handmade professional flutes from Tokyo’s Ochanomizu district, specifically the Miyazawa Vision Series and the Sankyo 601, which are global benchmarks for luxury. You will also hear the professional Shakuhachi (bamboo flute) crafted at the Kitahara Seikado workshop.

• Elite Japanese Guitars: The guitarists perform on masterpieces of Japanese luthiery, which is defined by extreme precision and the use of rare, "seasoned" woods. This includes one-of-a-kind ESP Exhibition Limited models featuring stabilized woods like Japanese Horse Chestnut and Buckeye Burl, alongside Sugi Guitars crafted from centuries-old submerged "Aqua Timber". The performance also highlights the unique "Sponge" hand-painted Caparison Guitars TAT Special, the flawless flame maple tops of T’s Guitars' Arc series, and master-built masterpieces from the Fender Custom Shop in Tokyo’s Harajuku district.

• South Korean Percussion & Strings: Driving the rhythm is an ultra-limited Sonor SPM 20th Anniversary Bell Bronze Snare Drum, representing Seoul's hub of high-end percussion. The track prominently features a Concert Gayageum, a traditional zither handmade by South Korean masters using 30-year-old Japanese chestnut and paulownia wood. The classical string section utilizes custom violins crafted by boutique makers near the Seoul Arts Center in the Seocho district.

• Boutique Korean Guitars & Basses: The rhythm section is powered by premium domestic and custom shop brands built in South Korea. This includes Balaguer Guitars' hand-built Heritage and Select series, semi-custom Gilmour Guitars, and the Cort Core and X-series flagship models. The iconic tone is rounded out by Moollon Musical Instrument Co.’s Classic series, world-famous for its hand-carved, hand-etched metal hardware.
