How to create Long Exposure Images by Blending Multiple Exposures - A Landscape Photography Tutorial

In this episode in heading to the coast to capture the motion of waves. Over three parts and an editing section we will cover how many images you need to capture, what shutter speeds you need to use and how to blend those exposures together to create amazing long exposures images without ND filters.

This isn't meant to just replace Neutral Density filters, but also work alongside them. You could use a 6-stop to achieve a 10 second exposure and then combine 6 of those to create a minute-long exposure. This is just another technique that will provide the right result when used correctly.

I was out making the most of the bad weather in this video, learning to photography what you have and making the most of the scene is very important to me. Here I leant into the the moody blue-ness of the evening and wanted to portray the cold by processing the image in this way.
