It is a dream of most women to achieve a skin that is glowing and flawless. They make use of several skin whitening products to improve their skin tone. As a result they tend to do more harm to the natural skin with the help of harmful chemicals present in most skin care products. It has been proven that the skin looks dark when there is lack of oxygen and blood in the skin. It also gives a dull, tired and lifeless appearance. Causes of dark and dull skin can be exposure to the environmental hazards like pollution, dust and harsh ultra violet rays of the sun. Other reason for this condition can also be insufficient nutrition, mental stress and lack of hygiene in keeping the skin clean.

Gram flour or besan:
Besan is popularly known as Gram flour and it is old age granny’s technique to get glowing and beautiful skin. The powder prepared from the chana dhal grains is called besan or gram flour powder; it is having wide usage at the kitchen and is performing extremely well for the skin problems. With out having any difference with the various skin types like dry, oily and sensitive skin besan yields very good results. Besan helps in removing tan, zits and dead skin, it increases the tone and brightens the skin complexion. Not only it brighten up the complexion of you skin also treats your skin from variety of skin problems. It can treat the dullness of the skin. It is great remedy for acne, pimples and dark skin. Besan is a wonderful remedy to treat your skin from aging and dullness. It is very easy to be found and cheap too. The besan is alkalizing in nature. You can mix some yogurt with it to make it acidic in nature.
