the Donnas “Get Rid of That Girl” Music Video (w/o watermark)

Believe it or not, I was the one who encoded the "Get Rid of That Girl" video that is now on the internet. I copied one of The Donnas' mother's original VHS to my Hi8 tape. Then I encoded the Hi8 footage to a Quicktime file and put a "thedonnas.com" watermark on the bottom right for posting on The Donnas website back in the day. This was the same week that I was on set for “Who Invited You” video filming.

So this video is from my first generation Hi8 copy... and unfortunately, I don't have a nice digital setup to pull the video from my tape onto my MacBook. (It's an analog conversion through Vidbox... which honestly ain't the best.) Maybe one day I will upgrade to a better setup and encode all my Hi8 footage to higher digital quality… But for now, this is all I’ve got to work with. Still, here's my copy of the video without the watermark.
