Every one dreams of becoming rich and successful person. He wants his own house, own car, good bank balance, a happy family life, lot of money and time to go around the world, either good job or own business, an expensive mobile phone, dining out with friends in a luxury hotel etc., but life takes exams so many times, man wants something else and gets something else.

At times a small accident shatters all the dreams. He has to compromise with circumstances.

But friends what you think such accidents happen only in your life, they don't happen in the lives of rich and famous people, they don't have bad phase of life? how come they become successful and you do not.

Was there no accident in the life of Amitabh Bachhan? Is life of Shahrukh Khan runs smooth? Do Ambanies, Adanies, Birlas and tatas get whatever they think? Did the promoters or CEOs of Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Amazon never feel the shocks? Yes they did get. The only difference is we saw only one side of their life, their smiling face, expensive clothes, awards, their cars, homes, etc., we never tried to peep into their life.

Just study the life of one rich person, understand the accidents of his life, and then try to learn that why they did not fall, why they did not fail. You will get the ways to succeed and where there are ways there are destinations.

Friends, whenever any one fails, he has two choices, one to sit at home and blame the luck and other is to do something.

When I was studying the lives of such persons, I came across the life of Hal Elrod. His life inspired me more. The kind of accidents of his life may break anyone but Hal Elrod never broke and his life became the example for others. Millions of people are getting inspired by his life and becoming successful.

Hal Elrod touched the heights of success at the age of 20 years only. He was doing the job of a sales man. He used to remain ahead of other salesmen. His family was happy. But suddenly everything got changed. A car smashed in his car. Within one second Hal Elrod's life got destroyed. He got multifractures of his bones. The bones of his legs, arms, got fractured. His lungs were punctured. His whole body received wounds.

When people gathered at accident site, his was breathless, his pulse was not moving. But timely intervention by some doctors revived his breath and he was taken to hospital. He slipped into comma and
was there for 6 days. As he gained conciousness he could make that his brain has also got damaged and he will not be able to walk even.

But friends what happened there he again become the part of world's top successful people. Let's understand why he is counted in successful people and not in failures.

After knowing that he will not be able to walk, he started thinking the next step. He was having two choices, negative and positive. Either he should admit his failure and be a burden for family or start thinking some other way. He knew that there must be positive ways, only thing required is to think in that direction. Because every cloud has a silver lining. I have explained it in my book, Asafalta Ka Tyag.

Hal Elrod also choosen same way. He decided that even if he does not start walking he will prove to be a happiest person on the wheel chair.

Immediately after the positive thoughts started entering his mind, he started feeling more energetic and more motivated. Negative thoughts do not help, just spoil the life. If you receive any negative thought, lock yourself in a room and start crying and weeping so that your negative energies drain out. and then start again thinking in positive direction.

Think what you can do after this accident. Your brain will start thinking in that direction and you will get positive and constructive ways. When Amitabh Bachhan organised Miss World, it was the worst phase of his life. That was a complete financial disaster. He was under debt of crores of rupees. I have watched him in a tv interview where he was looking very sad. He told that he does not mind advertising for a broom but he dislikes the sarcasim of people.
Sixth and last habit according to Hal Elrod is Scribing, means making notes. Hal Elrod always carries a note pad with him. You never knows when a million dollor idea enters your mind. Start writing everything on that note pad, your goals, your dreams, desires, ambitions, planning and what not.

Even I have the habit of writing much. I have a white board in my office. I write everything there.
