President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the African National Congress (ANC)'s annual January 8th statement later today. The statement is expected to outline issues within the party and the focus plans and manifesto for 2021. Ramaphosa is expected to address issues like the Covid-19 pandemic, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and femicide. Due to the coronavirus the annual statement will not be held with a mass rally.
