STRAWBERRY HAND PIES | Little Yummy Picnic Perfect Pie

Today we're making strawberry hand pies. This is one of the great thrills of having an abundance of Spring strawberries. And let's face it, if you're not a seasoned baker, making full pies from scratch can be a little intimidating. So let's make it easier (and quicker). We're using fresh seasonal strawberries, taking a couple of lil shortcuts on the crust, and creating a picnic perfect delicious dessert.

FOR THIS RECIPE YOU WILL NEED

PIE CRUST

350g or 2.5C. AP FLOUR
25g or 2 TBPS SUGAR
5g or 1 TSP SALT
280g or 2.5 STICK BUTTER
90g or 6 TBPS COLD WATER

FOR THE FILLING

400g STRAWBERRIES or about 3 C.
75g or 1/3C. SUGAR
5g or 2 TSP CHAMPAGNE VINEGAR
10g or 2 TBPS CORNSTARCH
