In this video, we put Seedance 2.0's video-to-video capabilities to the ultimate test. We take a challenging stock video of a subject with loose, frizzy hair and attempt to "key" them out and replace the background with a generated cyberpunk city—all without using a green screen or manual rotoscoping.

The results are absolutely bonkers. We look at how the AI manages to preserve single strands of hair during a turn, handles outfit changes, and maintains consistency across different angles. This workflow could potentially save indie filmmakers hundreds of hours of tedious manual work.
