Snapper fishing on the Mid North Coast of NSW using the float lining method.
It was really tough going as there were many undersized and pan sized snapper. We finished the session with 18 snapper, the largest measuring 54 cm.
Compared to snapper fishing off Sydney, this part of the NSW coast can produce some very big snapper, but unfortunately we didn't land a big one this time.
I also talk about how I use slow jigging rods as an effective way of float lining for snapper, featuring the Shimano Torium 30hg and the Shimano Jewel slow jig rod.
