Northern Uprising (Full Documentary)

With two kids at home and a job, it was difficult finding the time to plug away at this project that initially was going to be just 45 minutes in length. So how did it go from 45 minutes to two hours and twenty minutes? As I started putting it together, I realized that I wanted to relive the entire season. I didn't want something that scratches the surface, it had to dig in deep. Now I fully admit that there is a few moments in the movie that might drag or some edits that are not as smooth as they should be or the sound might not be quite at the right levels. My ambitions for a major project plus lack of time to edit plus wanting it out prior to the start of the 2019/2020 season meant a finished project that I wasn't 100% satisfied with. My plan is to go back, clean it up and rerelease an HD version.

One goal making Northern Uprising was to focus in on seven or eight key figures in the Raptors organization. That is why you will see brief moments on Danny Green post trade or Serge Ibaka in his home country or Fred VanVleet in the d league. Getting a little more insight into the men themselves so that at the end, during the victory parade, I hope it hits hard seeing them at the completion of this amazing journey.
