Hello friends! This vlog shares our time in the tropical state of Bahia, Brazil after two months of travel with our kids. While based in Salvador, we took numerous day (and short overnight) trips around the area. This video details our favorites: Morro de São Paulo, Ilha dos Frades, Itaparica, and Praia do Forte. We traveled with Cassi Turismo for all trips.

Bahia is home to Brazil's original capital city, Salvador. It's steeped in rich Afro-Brazilian history and Portuguese architecture. It's also full of beautiful beaches and the weather is warm year-round. It serves as a great home-base to explore Bahia as we did, since it has an airport, major tour companies, and plenty to do between your time out-of-town.
