Successes and lessons learnt from the Egyptian feminist movement | #RightLivelihood Workshop Series

In this workshop, we discussed the feminist concepts of “the personal is political” and constructive solidarity. Mozn Hassan, who received the Right Livelihood Award in 2016, shared her approaches to empowerment and gender equality.

By examining gender equality movements in the MENA region, we explored how different approaches can mobilize people and frame legal and policy changes.
