My AWARD WINNING Best Man Wedding Speech / Rap!

This was my Best Man Speech for the Richardson-Usher wedding at Slaly Hall, Northumberland on 26th August 2017.

Although it didn't go 100% to plan, I am immensely proud and happy with the way this turned out.

Getting up and speaking to large groups of people was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) fear I had... my body would just do weird things, involuntarily of course, if I ever had to do presentations in uni and stuff... which actually motivated me to just go all out.

The photographers and wedding staff went out of their way to come over and tell me that it was the best speech they'd seen in their entire time doing weddings... I even won the QHotels "Best wedding speech" awards where anyone could upload their speeches, whether it was a best man's speech, a father or the bride's speech or even if the speech was not performed at a QHotel!

I've never done anything like this before, but I managed to write all the lyrics, edit the audio, make and edit the video and set the whole thing up so that when the bride and groom walked in the suite, the projector showed a photo of the two walking back down the aisle.... making them none the wiser to what was to come.

My favourite part is the part where his mam makes a cameo appearance, because up until that moment she had no idea what my intentions were... I'm quite proud of that.

Anyway.... I HIGHLY advise that you watch it from the beginning as I give context so to understand the rap.... but if you want to skip straight to the rap: 6.27 is where you want to be.
All lyrics, jokes and anecdotes are based on absolutely true events....
