this Short Video describes the 4 major types of e way bills namely,

# Regular e way Bill
# Bill to Ship to e way Bill
# Bill from Despatch from e way Bill
# Combination of above 2 types
The above different types of e way bills are issued for Tax Invoices above Rs 50,000 by the supplier or consignor of the goods on the basis of the goods movement from the warehouse/ despatch location to the shipping location where are the goods are intended to be delivered.
Let's have a snapshot of each of the 4 e way bill types

In Regular e way bills the supplier and the receiver of the goods location is the same as mentioned on the invoice(s) accompanying the shipment or cargo.

In the Bill to Ship to type of e way bills the supplier location would be the same as mentioned on the invoice/ delivery challan accompanying, but the shipping or delivery location would be different from the billing address of the buyer. The delivery or shipping location could be in the same city or state or it could be in another state also.
In the 3rd type of e way Bill the supplier could be billing the goods from its business or regd address however the despatch of goods could be from another location to the buyer of the goods at its registered or billing address.
In the fourth type of e way bill which is a combination of above 2, the billing of the goods is done from its registered address however the despatch could be from another city or state and the goods are billed to the buyer at the registered address but the shipping or delivery location of the goods would be different from its billing address. The buyer can have dekivéry of the goods either in the same city or state or could be in another city or state.
