Bowfishing Utah Lake (PVC and Muzzy LVX)
Bowfishing during the spawn at Utah Lake! We were using a homemade PVC Korean Horse Bow with the Cajun drum reel, and the 2020 Muzzy LVX. We mostly waded but also shot off the kayak a little. Kayak is rigged with homemade outriggers, and a bow/paddle rack for fast, smooth transitions.
Made the PVC pipe bow over the oven element to shape it. It's 48 inches long, and about a 40lbs draw weight.
