The Toyota GR Supra Lightweight Evo is here—and it's not just a sports car. It's an aggressive, no-holds-barred machine for real driving enthusiasts. Made by Toyota Gazoo Racing, this new iteration of the GR Supra elevates performance to another level by losing weight, gaining power, and focusing every response.
Beneath the skin, the Lightweight Evo retains the legendary 3.0-liter turbo inline-six engine, this time bumped to a thrilling 435 horsepower. Mated with a lighter body—losing approximately 38 kilograms—it blazes to 100 km/h in only 3.8 seconds. This Supra is not merely about velocity, however. It's about connection. Each corner, each acceleration, and each brake feel pure and deliberate.
Engineers took out the audio system, minimized insulation, and swapped power seats with manual racing-type seats. High-performance tires surround matte black 19-inch alloy wheels, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler adds additional stability at speed. Combine that with Brembo brakes, firmer dampers, and recalibrated electric steering, and you have a machine refined to a T.
Inside, the GR Supra Lightweight Evo sheds the distractions. No touchscreen, no frills—just sport seats clad in Alcantara, red contrast stitching, and a race-tuned driving position. This is performance distilled.
Coming in limited quantities from January 2025 in Europe, and at an estimated price of $78,950 USD, this car is Toyota's farewell to the A90 generation Supra—and it's going out with a bang.
